Biography

A.J. Buckley is best known for his role as the go-to-guy in the Lab, "Adam Ross" on CBS' "CSI: New York." He plays the gifted scientist that brings a lot of humor to dark situations, and is now a regular on the series, which returned Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008.

He was also featured in "Scarlet,"- the LG TV spoof commercial directed by David Nutter. A.J. plays an eager investigative journalist, trying to get close to Hollywood star, "Scarlet" because he suspects she's hiding a secret. The joke is that her secret is that "Scarlet" is the name of the new line of TV's by LG.

A.J. also reprised his guest starring role in this season of the CW series, "Supernatural," as 'Ed Zeddmore,' in a pair of geeky wannabe ghost hunters known as the "Hell Hounds." The two have created a different and sometimes violent reality show that takes place in Morton Mansion, an abandoned estate which becomes one of the most haunted places in America one night each year. The episode, called "The Ghostfacers," aired April 24th, 2008.

Buckley also appeared on the August 19th episode of the award-winning HBO comedy series, "Entourage" as a struggling writer named Dave. He plays an overprotective and jealous boyfriend to superstar, Anna Farris, who is managed by Kevin Connolly's character, Eric Murphy. A Doug Ellin creation, "Entourage" had 7 Emmy nominations this year.

Born in Ireland, A.J. Buckley immigrated to Canada at age six. As a teenager in British Colombia, A.J. began his acting career in the television series "The Odyssey" and followed with guest stars on shows such as "The X- Files" and "Millennium."

His memorable role in DISTURBING BEHAVIOR brought him to Los Angeles. Since that time, A.J. has made over twenty feature films, including THE IN CROWD and the critically acclaimed BLUE CAR. In addition, A.J. has appeared in such hit TV shows as "CSI", "Without a Trace," "NYPD Blue", and "Supernatural."

Other film credits include: Fox's THE LAST SIN EATER, JIMMY AND JUDY, YOU DID WHAT, and WALKING TALL 2 for Sony. He is also the voice of a penguin in the animated feature, HAPPY FEET.

A.J. is also producing several television and feature projects with his company, Fourfront Productions.
