As the go-to-guy in the Lab, AJ Buckley is best known for his role as 'Adam Ross' on CBS' CSI: NY, portraying the gifted scientist that brings a lot of humor to dark situations.
Recently seen in competition at the Sundance film festival, AJ stars in the movie "Skateland", as 'Teddy Tulos,' the heartfelt and captivating owner of an early 1980s small-town Texas skating rink.
A guest starring role as 'Ed Zeddmore,' leader of a group of wannabe ghost hunters in the popular CW series Supernatural, has led AJ to write, direct and star in a Warner Brother's original web based series, "The Ghostfacers," that will debut online later this year.
AJ also appeared in an episode of the award-winning HBO comedy series Entourage. As a struggling writer, Dave, AJ played the overprotective and jealous boyfriend to superstar, Anna Farris, who was managed by Kevin Connolly's character, 'Eric Murphy.' Entourage received five Emmy nominations in 2009.
He was also featured in "Scarlet," a spoof commercial directed by David Nutter. AJ plays an eager investigative journalist, who tries to get close to Hollywood star, "Scarlet," who he suspects may be hiding a secret. The irony is revealed through the play on words; "Scarlet" is the name of a new line of TV's by LG, the commercial's sponsor.
Ireland native, AJ immigrated to Canada at age six and later spent his teenage years in British Colombia, where he began his acting career in the television series The Odyssey. Soon after, AJ followed as a guest star on shows such as The X-Files and Millennium.
His memorable role in "Disturbing Behavior" brought AJ to Los Angeles. Since his arrival, AJ has made more than 20 feature films including "The In Crowd" and the critically acclaimed "Blue Car." In addition, he has also appeared in such hit TV shows as Without a Trace, NYPD Blue, Jack and Jill and Bones.
